Royal Vaassen was asked to develop the main components for composite cans. The customer was under pressure and wanted to change supplier quickly. We transformed into a one-stop-shop supplier to meet the set criteria of the product to be delivered.
We challenged the current monopoly supplier in terms of quality and performance and produced several new products so that the main components of the composite tin met all criteria. We came up with all kinds of innovative solutions not only for the ring of the can, but also for the material of the wrapping box and the lip. The correct choice of material, as well as its thickness, played a crucial role in this process. In the end, we managed to achieve a perfect result under time pressure. Thanks to these innovative solutions, we became a one-stop-shop supplier for the critical components of these composite cans. Rapid technical support and further developments since delivery enabled the customer to switch to a new supplier quickly and worry-free.
