One of our customers in the industrial sector is the world leader in insulation and building envelope solutions for high-quality, sustainable buildings.
Royal Vaassen was asked to step into the shoes of this largest supplier in this segment. The goal: to deliver a full range of 2-sided painted embossed aluminum foil sheets for insulation panels within a year. It was a new market segment in which we were not yet active and where we had to develop a completely new product from the start.
Within a calendar year we have been able to produce a full range thanks to our rapid response, flexibility and innovative development. Our reliable solution is developed from their existing raw material components. During the process we innovated the lacquers of the insulation panels. This resulted in a better performing product. The aluminum foil plates have excellent barrier properties against corrosion, gases, biofouling, water vapor and light and are suitable for various applications with insulation panels. With this we offered the customer a perfect solution. We have now replaced the previous supplier and are the number one supplier in this segment ourselves.
