Royal Vaassen was asked to supply a lightweight cap solution for an innovative water bottle: The drop. This small single use bottle is consumed in one go. Sustainability and branding were key to the solution. Timing was of the essence.
With a fast and flexible response we created a sustainable solution including the art work. For the single-use bottles thin plastic was chosen. Where normally screwcaps are used, we provided a special light weight lid of thin aluminum foil. The print on the cap maximized the branding of the DROP bottle. Close cooperation with the machine supplier ensured fast and smooth acceptance. As a result the customer was able to launch the product in a short time frame and quickly grow its market share to a significant level. The concept is about to be rolled out to other countries.
